Taco Tuesday (Youth Leadership)

Taco Tuesday is a weekly outreach program designed for youth ages 13-19 in the Don Mills and Sheppard Catchment area. This program offers free after-school meals, in a culturally relevant and responsive environment. Young people also gain access to supportive mentors and weekly programming activities that cultivate self-identity and awareness, cultural consciousness, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Additionally, youth benefit from educational workshops on essential life skills and professional development, including topics like financial literacy, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and more!
