The Niche: Capacity Building for Young Black Social Service Workers (Certificate Course)

September 6, 7, 9, 2024

The program is a three-day intensive training held at York University for young Black Professionals that explores areas such as self-care, leadership, management, entrepreneurialism, public presentation and more. The program combines culturally relevant/ sustaining theoretical and practical skills, building on students existing knowledge of real-life community situations. Students learn how to position their lived experiences as assets and qualifying transferable skills with an amazing faculty team of experienced facilitators.
