PROGRAM

In partnership with the City of Toronto, the Harriet Tubman Community Organization (HTCO) is leading the Community Violence Impact Support for Black Youth. This initiative is designed to support Black youth, ages 12-24, impacted by community violence by providing trauma-informed, culturally appropriate resources. The program offers holistic wellness services, including counselling, systems navigation, and capacity-building opportunities. Through case management, each youth receives personalized support to foster resilience and healing, ensuring they have access to resources that promote their overall well-being. This program is part of a broader city-wide effort to enhance community safety and address the compounded impacts of trauma and loss.
